Getting old, but everything you need. Single room was clean, staff friendly and attentive. Breakfast was ok. Great for the money.

Very nice reception, room good, breakfast as well. Dinner was great, but "a bit" overpriced. Sole was recommended to us (35 €), it would be enough for 2 people (was the same). That then 35 € per person was charged and in the end over 100 € "on the clock" were already juicy. Hence the point deduction.

The single room was pretty small. The food in the restaurant was very good, very friendly and helpful experience!

Since the hotel room was directly on the street side, it was not possible to sleep with the windows open due to traffic. The installed fan has at least occasionally blown a fresh breeze through the room. The service staff was friendly and attentive. Breakfast absolutely fine despite Corona restrictions ...

I give five stars twice. Once for accommodation and food. And the others for the service, our wet things too dry (jackets and shoes) and they were ready again in front of the door the next morning. Thank you again. Very cyclist-friendly ?????

We were part of a birthday party - the menu was treacherous: A the cook loves his job, B the cook understands his job, C the cook is very creative. The wine was the same as the breakfast. There are, however, two minus points: 1 milk coffee for breakfast, 2 the restaurant is in Holzminden and not in Essen.

Eaten delicious! Had an appetite for a Wiener schnitzel with fried potatoes. Gave a salad very nicely done beforehand and I also liked it.

Near the old town, parking in front of the door. Modern rooms, friendly staff. Nice restaurant with very good kitchen.

We stayed on a bike ride for one night. The hotel is located near the old town on a busy street. The windows are very well insulated against noise, so that is not a problem. The rooms are small but well equipped and have comfortable beds. The breakfast has met our expectations. The service was good, which is to be expected in an almost empty hotel. We were able to store the bicycles in a locked garage. For a night on a bike ride, the hotel is well suited.

We stayed there over a weekend, the room and bathroom were clean, but the beds were way too soft, so you can fix it. The breakfast is something for everyone, wishes are fulfilled. We had eaten in the restaurant one evening, very plentiful and delicious, all freshly prepared.

It is nice place with very delicious food in the restaurant. Breakfast is good, too. The unconvenient part is the key for the room. It is a key not a card..and they are even 2 keys - one for the room and the other for the back side door. The rooms are clean.
